Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Corect collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile app, our website, the free web form check, our blog and fitness calculators, the waitlist, workout tools, AI form analysis, routines, exercise catalog, sharing features, and subscription services.
Information we collect
We may collect profile details you choose to provide, waitlist or support contact details, sign-in details when you use the free web form check, device and app information, settings, subscription status, usage limits, analytics events, and workout history created in Corect.
Video and exercise data
Corect processes workout videos, pose landmarks, movement measurements, rep data, selected exercises, routines, notes, scores, and analysis results to provide form feedback and training insights. Some measurements may be computed on your device. When cloud analysis is requested, submitted video or derived movement data is securely transmitted to our backend and used to provide the requested analysis, moderation, troubleshooting, and service reliability. To produce form feedback, still images taken from your workout video — which show your body performing the exercise — are sent to our AI analysis providers together with the movement measurements. These providers may retain this content for a limited period under their own policies, for example to monitor for abuse. We do not permit them to use it to train their models.
Health data
If you allow it, the Corect app reads your heart rate and active energy from Apple Health while a workout session is running, and writes the finished workout back to Apple Health. These readings are shown to you and saved with that session. We do not send health data to our AI analysis providers, and we do not use it for advertising. Health access is optional, and you can grant or revoke it at any time in the Health app or in your device settings.
The free web form check
Our website offers a free form check. This part of Corect works differently from the app, so it is described separately.
- You sign in with Sign in with Apple. We store the account identifier Apple gives us, the email address Apple returns, which may be a private relay address, and your name if Apple supplies it.
- We keep a permanent count of the checks made by your Apple account, because the free check is limited to one per account. We keep that count and the account behind it while the limit applies.
- We delete the video you upload within 24 hours. We never publish it, never show it to anybody else, and never use it for anything but your own analysis.
- We keep your result and its measurements for 90 days.
- You must be 16 or older to upload a video to the web form check.
How we use information
- Provide AI-powered form analysis, rep detection, routine generation, exercise guidance, workout history, and shareable summaries.
- Personalize coaching, camera guidance, recommendations, onboarding, and product settings.
- Manage subscriptions, entitlements, usage limits, support requests, and waitlist communications.
- Maintain safety, prevent abuse, debug issues, monitor performance, and improve reliability.
- Understand feature usage and improve Corect through analytics and aggregated insights.
Storage and security
Workout videos, saved analyses, routines, settings, and history may be stored locally on your device. Cloud systems may temporarily process submitted videos or movement data and may store analysis results, usage records, account identifiers, support messages, waitlist entries, analytics events, and subscription entitlement data as needed to operate Corect. Videos uploaded through the website are stored on our servers as described above. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet or storage system is completely secure.
Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share data with your consent, to comply with legal obligations, to protect rights and safety, or with service providers that help us operate Corect, such as cloud hosting, AI processing, analytics, crash reporting, subscriptions, email, and support tools.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, deletion, objection to processing, or withdrawal of consent where applicable. You can also manage camera, microphone, photo library, health, notification, and tracking permissions through your device or browser settings.
International transfers
Corect is operated from the European Union, but some of our processors are located in the United States. In particular, workout video frames and movement data submitted for analysis are processed by AI infrastructure providers outside the European Economic Area, and subscription entitlement data and product analytics are processed by service providers that may also be located there. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses as the transfer safeguard, together with data processing agreements with each provider. A current list of our processors is available on request using the contact address above.
Data retention
In the app, analysis jobs and the uploaded clips behind them are deleted automatically 7 days after they are created. For the free web form check, uploaded clips are deleted within 24 hours, and the analysis record is kept for 90 days. Device identifiers used for notifications are removed after 180 days without use. The lifetime count attached to a web account, and the account details behind it, are kept while the one-check limit applies. Usage records tied to your subscription are kept while your installation remains active. You can ask us to delete your data at any time using the contact address above.
Children
Corect is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The free web form check is for people 16 or older. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
Cookies and website analytics
Our website stores a small record of your analytics choice in your browser. If you accept, we use PostHog, hosted in the European Union, to count page views and understand which pages are useful. If you decline, we do not send those events. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie preferences link on the website. The free web form check also stores your video and your result in your own browser, so the page can show them again after a reload.
Third-party services
Corect may use third-party services for cloud infrastructure, AI analysis, analytics, crash reporting, subscription management, app distribution, email, waitlist management, and support. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy and update the Last Updated date. Continued use of Corect after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
